I'm well over the time limit, probably close to 6hrs now. Did some more layout - fixed proportions and made an ear. Also tried to make a more light hearted mesh - no so angry looking. Don't think that's all that successful.. :) Basically just too soft selection and shoved it around a bit. Anyway, I'm done with this, I'm mostly happy w/ it, the mesh isn't overly populated, but the ear connects and looks weird. There's a dent in the middle of the brow that showed up after smoothing that I could get rid of. But overall I'm kinda done w/ this. I could keep pushing and pulling but that won't fix the larger issues. So if I do another, I'll start fresh. Maybe more toon-esque next time.

Cool Cool.. I like how you use lighting to make him look more dramatic. :) I think the model looks good overall. I would say that there are small things that could be done, as always.
First off I would (and maybe you're already doing this, but I can't see it) make the corner of the mouth end with tree edges coming out of it. So that there's a little more curve and not a hard edge as there appears to be.
Second, I might put another edge loop around the nostrils to add more of a corner feel around the nostrils, right now it smooths into the face a bit much for my liking. The tip of the nose and the connection to the nostrils is great, it's just where it meets the face at the bottom of the nostrils I'm picky about.
The eyes are fantastic. I really like the eyes.. maybe the cheeks could smooth out a bit more towards the outside of the eyes.
I can't see the ears so, no comment..
I thought our time limit was Wed. not in hours.. Anyways, good stuff man! I like him, would be nice to see the final wires. Also, I think a couple of small touches and this model could be even better.
i think it looks reallly good. I like the detail above the nose in the brow and the eyes are great. I'd agree w/ Dan about the edge of the mouth, personally i freakin hate working on that area.
